The North Face® FP Mica 2 is a ground sheet in the footprint of The North Face® Mica 2 tent to protect the floor of the tent. Footprints are a good investment and designed to protect the tent floor from long term abrasion from rocks, vegetation and grit. Footprints also help stop moisture from dew, rain and snow from penetrating to the tent floor. The tent floor takes longest to dry when you pack up a tent and it is easier to roll up a wet footprint and take it out to dry on the trail before the next camp than unpacking the tent.
